Day 1: Arrive Armenia
On arrival transfer to your Hacienda, a typical country house in rustic colonial style, surrounded by coffee plantations
Day 2: San Alberto
Today you will experience the coffee culture from the roots up. Visit a coffee plantation to witness the harvesting, grinding and roasting processes, before tasting a variety of the highest quality coffee beans in search of your favorite. Afternoon visit to the botanical gardens.
Day 3: Cocora Valley
Visit to the Cocora Valley, famous for its unusually tall, spindly palm trees, Colombia’s national tree. Hike or horse ride through the cloud forest with its unique flora and fauna. Continue through to Salento, the oldest town of the coffee area where the the typical ‘Paisa” colonial architecture can be admired
Day 4: Depart Armenia
Transfer to airport to take the flight to your next destination.
