Day 1: Arrive Phnom Penh
Welcome at Phnom Penh International airport and transfer to hotel. Visit the National Museum, built in 1917. It is an exceptional example of traditional architecture and is exclusively devoted to preserving and displaying Khmer art and sculptures. Hundreds of pieces are housed here including both Angkorian and pre-Angkorian. Wat Phnom, Phnom Penh’s namesake, from where you can enjoy views over the tree lined avenues of the city. In the afternoon visit the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town; and the Silver Pagoda located within the grounds of the Royal Palace (its floor is made up of 5000 silver tiles). Visit the Notorious Tuol Sleng Museum (Genocide Museum). In the former time, this museum was the secondary school. It became a detention and torture centre for thousand of Cambodian people in Pol Pot regime and known as Security Prison 21 (S-21). Nowadays, the Tuol Sleng Museum remains a lot of evidences of deaths’ people.

Day 2: Phnom Penh – Kompong Cham – Kampong Thom
In the morning drive to Kampong Cham, a small town that has retained its colonial-era charm. Upon arrival, we visit Wat Nokor temple, the local market and French colonial buildings. After lunch, we drive to Kampong Thom. En route visit the 11th century Wat Kohear Nokor to meet local monks and villagers.

Day 3: Kampong Thom – Sambor Prei Kuk – Siem Reap
In the morning drive 30 km to the 7th century Sambor Prei Kuk temple. Along the way observe everyday life of rural Cambodia. Visit the ancient capital of Chenla with its 100 temples dating from the pre-Angkor period. The complex at Ishanapura is composed of four groups of temples that are among the most ancient surviving examples of Khmer architecture. After lunch, drive to Siem Reap. On arrival check in hotel.

Day 4: Siem Reap – Roluos Group – Ta Prohm
Visit the Roluos group of temples dating from the 9th and 10 century, including Preah Ko, Bakong, and Lolei temples. In the afternoon, view the Bantey Kdei with its rarely seen sculpted female deities, the Lake of Srah Srang, the impressive Ta Prohm Temple, which remains in the clutches of the enveloping jungle. Visit the Ta Keo, Chau Say Tevada, and Thommanon temples before returning to hotel.
Day 5: Siem Reap – Angkor Complex
Begin exploration of the ancient city of Angkor by entering Angkor Thom via the South Gate. Continue the journey by viewing the ruins at Bayon, Baphoun, Phimeanakas, the Royal Palace, the Elephant Terraces and the Leper King Terrace. In the afternoon, visit magnificent Angkor Wat with its extraordinary architecture and bas-reliefs. End the day with a spectacular sunset from the top of the mountain temple of Phnom Bakheng.
Day 6: Siem Reap – Kbal Spean – Banteay Srei
In the morning, take a soft jungle trek to the River of a Thousand Lingas. The ancient Khmer civilization used the waters for canals and irrigation. Numerous bas-reliefs remain as do the thousand lingas carved in to the riverbed to bless the water before it flowed downhill to the royal city. In the afternoon proceed to the graceful Khmer Temple of Shiva – Banteay Srei – dating back to the 11th century. Banteay Srei means “Citadel of Women” and the site contains some of Angkor’s best preserved sandstone decorations, friezes and lintels.
Day 7: Depart Siem Reap
After breakfast visit Pouk Silk farm village 16km west of Siem Reap. Then onto a visit at Artisan d’Angkor of Seam Reap. This afternoon transfer to Siem Reap International Airport.
