Day 01: Arrive Cape Town
Arrive in Cape Town where we’ll meet you on arrival and transfer you to your hotel, affectionately known as Mt Nellie. At the foot of the Table Mountain, and walking distance of Company’s Garden and restaurants, this exquisitely restored colonial hotel was painted pink over 100-years ago. Upon arrival, enjoy some time to settle in before savouring a warm welcome reception.

Day 02: Cape Town
A gateway to Cape Town’s past, you will stop at the Castle of Good Hope for a tour of this historic landmark. Afterwards, you will board the iconic aerial cableway to the top of Table Mountain, before embarking on your included sightseeing activity. Perhaps spend the afternoon at the Victoria & Alfred (V&A) Waterfront with a visit to the largest museumof contemporary African art in the world, the Zeitz Mocaa Museum, followed by a drink or afternoon tea at the Silo Hotel. Or, set off on a heritage tour where you will discover the neighbourhoods of Bo-Kaap and District Six. Maybe set out on a hike along the Camps Bay Pipe Track, which offers views above the gorgeous beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay. Tonight, enjoy a dinner at a local restaurant to savour Cape Town’s Fabulous food.
Day 03: Cape Town – Cape Peninsula
This morning, you will journey along the coastal Chapman’s Peak Drive to Cape Point. En route, take in the South African beach scenery, its quaint villages and the ‘tip’ of Africa, Cape Point, before continuing on to Simon’s Town for lunch. Nearby is Boulders Beach, where you might get the chance to see a colony of penguins, before returning to your hotel.
Day 04: Robben Island – Stellenbosch
This morning, meet with a former prison guard for a private tour at Robben Island. Originally assigned to guard Nelson Mandela, you will be moved by his stories of the island and the Maximum Security Prison where thousands of South African Freedom Fighters were incarcerated. It’s then onto the oak-shaded streets of Stellenbosch for the remainder of the day at the Lanzerac Hotel. Here, let the hotel’s tremendous history, character and charm unfold before you, upon the backdrop of magnificent mountains.

Day 05: Stellenbosch
Today you’ll explore Stellenbosch, and admire its Cape Dutch architecture and colonial history. Here you will indulge in its storied past, remarkable culture and inspiring artwork on a walking tour, before tasting traditional cuisines. You will enjoy the rest of the day at your estate, surrounded by mountains and wine farms, where you can relax or partake in the activities offered within the property.
Day 06: Cape Town – Kruger National Park
Today, fly to Kruger, before transferring to your private lodge within Kruger National Park. This evening, enjoy a round of sundowners as you soak up the African sunset, before dinner.

Day 07: Kruger National Park
Rise early today for your morning game drive with experienced trackers. It’s then back to your lodge for some time to relax before setting off on another game drive this afternoon. Your day ends with a boma dinner under the stars as you enjoy the sounds of the bush. This majestic setting provides a perfect conclusion to your incredible Kruger National Park experience.
Day 08: Kruger National Park – Johannesburg
Today, fly to Johannesburg, where you will stay overnight in preparation for you River safari in the morning.

Day 09: Chobe River – Embark Zambezi Queen
Today you will fly to Kasane in Botswana, then travel by coach and boat into Namibia where you will board your riverboat, the Zambezi Queen for two nights. From your perfect vantage point directly on the river that flourishes with life, you will enjoy incredible game safaris on the Chobe River.
Cruise: Chobe River, Zambezi Queen, 2 nights
Day 10: Chobe River
Prepare for a superb day of viewing animals on safari boat rides.
Day 11: Disembark Zambezi Queen – Chobe River + Livingstone
Disembark your riverboat and cross the border into Botswana then into Zambia. You will then be transferred to your hotel overlooking the Zambezi River, with direct access to Victoria Falls. Once you’ve checked in, relax at your hotel or take a leisurely walk to the falls.

Day 12: Livingstone
Today presents a vast selection of ways in which you could spend the day. You might like to embark on Chief Mukuni’s Village Cultural Tour then visit the Maramba Market. Alternatively, marvel at the spectacular sight of thundering Victoria Falls from a helicopter flight. Or tour the Zimbabwean side of the falls and enjoy a lunch. Savour a farewell dinner.
Day 13: Livingstone, Nairobi
Fly to Nairobi for your East Africa safari.

Day 14: Nairobi, Ngorongoro Crater
Take a flight to Lake Manyara in Tanzania and join our 4WD vehicles and continue to your lodge. Savour time at leisure before a round of sundowners, followed by dinner.

Day 15: Ngorongoro Crater
Today at the crater, you will stop for a picnic lunch, giving you time to take in the surrounds. Voted as one of the Seven Wonders of Africa, the crater’s high walls are a natural enclosure to vast numbers of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles and lions, so make sure you have your camera ready to capture the abundant wildlife.
Day 16: Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara
Visit a local school and Maasai village, before a barbecue lunch and optional game drive through Manyara National Park.
Day 17: Olduvai Gorge – Serengeti National Park
Take in the spectacular, expansive views and watch out for wildlife, as you travel to Serengeti National Park. At Olduvai Gorge, also known as the Cradle of Mankind, enjoy a private tour of the earliest evidence of the existence of human ancestors.

Day 18: Serengeti National Park
The plains of Serengeti National Park are home to an incredible amount of animals. Rise early this morning for a game drive. Back at your lodge, enjoy some time to relax. This evening savour another game drive, this time observing animals as they prepare for the night time, before enjoying dinner at your lodge.
Day 19: Serengeti National Park
A third day in the national park illuminates the opportunity to spy any animals that you may have missed on game drives yesterday.
Day 20: Serengeti National Park – Masai Mara
Board a light aircraft for your journey to Kenya, where you will take a picturesque flight to the Masai Mara. Shortly after arriving, head off-road through the savannah on your first game drive. Afterwards, retire to your tent retreat.

Day 21: Masai Mara
Wake to the sounds of the African bush. Later, enjoy the Masai Mara on morning and afternoon game drives through the private Mara conservancy.
Day 22: Masai Mara
Today is set aside for a game viewing of the Masai Mara Reserve. Otherwise, you might like to spend the day relaxing at camp, or watching resident hippos from your deck. This evening a traditional bush dinner is served within the incredible setting of the Masai Mara.
Day 23: Masai Mara, Nairobi
This morning you will say goodbye to Masai Mara and take a flight to Nairobi. At the end of your day, enjoy a private performance by the Kenyan Boys Choir, with farewell drinks.

Day 24: Depart Nairobi
After breakfast, your Classic African Safari concludes. We say goodbye before we transfer you to the
