RV Tonle Pandaw

Built in 2002, the RV Tonle Pandaw has a total of 18 upper deck and 10 main deck staterooms, each spanning 170sq ft. All cabins are spacious and designed with your comfort as the number one priority. They are finished in teak and brass making a luxurious and inviting place to stay.  All cabins have ensuite bathrooms, air-conditioning, French windows, desks, safes, storage and have the option of twin or double beds Cabins.

Broad promenade decks run around the outside of the accommodation, with chairs and tables outside each cabin to provide each guest with a fantastic vantage point. With her gorgeous upper deck saloon, observation decks and formal dining room this ship is an old favourite with a rich ambiance.  In 2013 she was fully refitted and the number of cabins reduced to just 28 in order to create a professional spa and library on the lower deck. She is not a small ship but despite her size, she has a shallow draft and can usually get up river into low water areas when other vessels are stuck well below. Pandaw is the only operator to explore Kratie and its river dolphins in the north of Cambodia (during high water level July-January). The cruise between Ho Chi Minh City and Siem Reap (and vice-versa) takes 7 nights, or for those short of time 3 and 4-night cruises operate, breaking the journey in Phnom Penh.

RV Mekong Pandaw

Built in 2003, the RV Mekong Pandaw was the first vessel to attempt the journey between Vietnam and Cambodia and the only operator to explore Kratie and its river dolphins in the north of Cambodia (during high water level July-January). The vessel has been lovingly restored to an incredibly high standard. This ensures the extraordinary journey between Ho Chi Minh City and Angkor Wat is a truly remarkable experience.

The RV Mekong Pandaw has a total of 18 upper deck and 6 main deck staterooms, each spanning 170sq ft. Each has been cleverly designed to allow both space and privacy whilst you journey along the Mekong River. In keeping with the feel and style of all of Pandaw’s ships, cabins have traditional interiors. All are equipped with the modern conveniences you would expect on a luxury boat.

All cabins have ensuite bathrooms, air-conditioning, French windows, desks, safes, storage and have the option of twin or double beds Cabins. Broad promenade decks run around the outside of the accommodation. Chairs and tables are placed outside each cabin to provide each guest with a fantastic vantage point.

In 2013 she was refitted and all lower deck cabins were removed in favour of a professional spa, gym, library lounge and office. The RV Mekong Pandaw has the largest sun deck on the River and the biggest public-space-to-passenger-ration. She is quite justifiably the most splendid ship on the Mekong and the envy of anything that floats by. The cruise between Ho Chi Minh City and Siem Reap (and vice-versa) takes 7 nights, or for those short of time 3 and 4 night cruises operate, breaking the journey in Phnom Penh.

CF Mekong River Cruises – RV Toum Tiou

Toum Tiou’s steel hull and sleek low draft make it the only true vessel that sails the Mekong. Toum Tiou and its sister vessel, Toum Tiou II, are the only ships which can sail from the Siem Reap pier to Saigon’s harbour. With other vessels, passengers have to disembark mid-river and continue on land.

Toum Tiou’s low draft allows it access to the remotest of villages and to gently hug the river line, affording passengers priceless views of people, flora and fauna – hardly touched by modernity. Toum Tiou was custom built for passenger privacy, intimacy, comfort and safety. Toum Tiou has 10 cosy double cabins; each with a private lounge area, air conditioning, hi-fi system, and en suite bathroom with hot/cold private shower.
