This combined adventure offers you the opportunity to explore two fascinating tourist destinations in a varied and exciting trip: Cuba & Mexico. The Caribbean total round trip takes you to the major attractions of both countries; visit to the beautiful tobacco plantations in Cuba’s Vinales Valley and discover cities such as Trinidad and Cienfuegos, which are infused with colonial charm, before you dive into the world of the Maya at Chichen Itza and Tulum, which offer a fascinating glimpse into the past of Mexican civilization. Day 1: Arrive Havana

Today you will arrive at Havana’s international airport. Meet and assist at the and transfer from the airport to the hotel for you. Spend the rest of the day exploring the picturesque old town of Havana or enjoying a cocktail in one of Havana’s typical Cuban bars.

Day 2: Havana

Today you will have a guided walking tour through Havana’s Old Town. The Old Town of Havana was declared a UNESCO world cultural heritage site in 1982. While strolling through the vibrant streets of the Cuban capital you can reminisce about days gone by. Look forward to visiting the Havana Club Rum Museum and driving through the “modern” part of Havana in the back of a classic car.

Day 3: Havana – Vinales

After breakfast you will head westward. You will stop and visit a “Casa del Veguero” (house of a tobacco farmer) surrounded by lush tobacco fields in the famous Vinales Valley. You will also visit the “Cueva del Indio”. Vinales is a small town situated between green tobacco fields and monumental limestone formations called ‘Mogotes’.

Day 4: Vinales – Cienfuegos

Today you will head to sunny Cienfuegos. Cienfuegos is one of the liveliest and most beautiful cities in Cuba. On your way, you will stop at the Bay of Pigs where you will go on a boat tour of the Laguna del Tresoro. This so-called ‘Treasure Lake’ is located amid numerous canals, mangrove forests and palm trees. Once you have arrived in Cienfuegos you can spend the rest of the day as you wish.

Day 5: Cienfuegos – Trinidad

Today’s journey will bring you to Trinidad. A colonial city which was founded in 1514 and declared world heritage site by the UNESCO. On your way to Trinidad you will go on an enjoyable excursion to El Cubano Park, which is located in the National Park of Topes de Collantes. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant.

Day 6: Trinidad

Start your day with a guided walking tour of exciting Trinidad. There is lots to see in the colonial old town of Trinidad, including the Palacio Brunet, one of the most beautiful palaces of the city. Today, the Palacio Brunet is home of the Museo Romantico. In the afternoon you will go on an excursion to the beach where you can enjoy the Caribbean Sea and relax under palm trees.

Day 7: Trinidad – Havana

In the morning you will head back to Havana. On the way, you will stop in Santa Clara, where you will visit the Che Guevara Mausoleum. Here rest the remains of the famous revolutionist, which were only found a few years ago. Enjoy your last evening in Havana as you see fit.

Day 8: Havana – Cancun – Chichen Itzaa

It’s time to bid farewell to beautiful Cuba. You will be driven to the airport where you will board your flight to Cancun. Somebody will be waiting for you at Cancun airport and when you arrive he/she will bring you to Chichen Itza. Unwind after your flight as you go on a sightseeing tour.

Day 9: Chichen Itza – Izamal – Mérida

Today you will get to experience an informative tour of the amazing archaeological site of Chichen Itza. After touring this remarkable ancient Mayan city you will continue to Izamal, a colonial city, which was declared “Pueblo Mágico“ (magical place). This is in honour of the city’s authenticity and beauty. Once you have arrived in Mérida you will discover the city.

Day 10: Mérida

Spend the day as you wish. There’s lots to do, but we recommended visiting the Uxmal ruins, one of the most visited Maya heritage sites, exploring the famous Cuzuma Cenotes, or going on an excursion to the Celestun national park.

Day 11: Mérida – Valladolid

Today you will drive to Valladolid, a colonial city, which is also classified as a “Pueblo Mágico“. During a guided city tour of this extraordinary city you will be shown the most important highlights. Valladolid is sure to enchant you.

Day 12: Valladolid – Tulum

Today you will go to the beautiful Cliffside Maya city of Tulum. There is a spectacular view of the ocean from this archaeological site. Take this opportunity to relax and enjoy the idyllic Caribbean coast.

Day 13: Tulum – Playa del Carmen

Today’s destination is called Playa del Carmen. Spend the whole day at the beach if you like, swimming or relaxing in the shade. You can enjoy the evening in one of the town’s various bars and enjoy a typical Mexican drink.

Day 14: Playa del Carmen

Spend your last day entirely as you wish. Relax at the beach, go shopping or pick up some final souvenirs for friends and family at home. In the evening you will enjoy a delicious Mexican dinner and one of the town’s many delicious restaurants.

Day 15: Depart Playa del Carmen

Today your Cuba – Mexico Round-trip tour ends. Spend the morning at your leisure before heading to the international airport of Cancun.

Cuban Dance Tour

Put your dancing shoes and travel to Cuba to learn some fun Salsa moves and spend time exploring beautiful Cuban places; the tour combines Latin dance lessons with some guided tours. Day 1: Arrive in Havana

Day 2, Havana

After breakfast, your tour guide will accompany you in the transfer to the dance academy “ritmo cubano” for your first dancing lesson at 9 am. You will get to know your professional Cuban dancing partner. Together with qualified teacher they will introduce you into the world of Cuban music and rhythms. After the classes we leave for a guided tour through Old Havana with its historic centre: the beautiful “La Habana Vieja”. We also stop for a tour at the Rum Museum of Havana Club. Lunch takes place in a typical Cuban restaurant. In the afternoon, you will visit the community project Casa del Tango.

Day 3: Havana – Dancing Classes & Afternoon Christopher Columbus Cemetery

Once you have finished your dancing lessons in the morning, your tour guide will take you to the Cemetery Cristobal Colon considered by its extension one of the largest in the world. There you will discover a unique variety of sculptural and architectural exponents erected for more than a century with an amazing diversity of styles. A visit to the Plaza de la Revolución will take place this afternoon, symbol of the Cuban revolution and, since 1959, scene of relevant events and demonstrations. You will return to the hotel and the evening is free at your disposal.

Day 4: Havana – Dancing Classes & City Eastern Beaches

After breakfast and a 4 hours dancing lesson in the morning we leave for the east of Havana and after a 30 minutes trip, we reach tropical beaches located in this area. With more than 10km of white sandy beaches you can relax and swim in the crystal-clear waters for the rest of the day. The evening is again at leisure.

Day 5: Havana, Dancing Classes & Cabaret Parisien

You will start the day again with the hot salsa lesson. You can use the rest of the morning and afternoon exploring Cuba on your own by e.g. visiting a museum or rum factory in town, or just relaxing at the hotel’s pool. In the evening we leave for a live musical show, Cabaret Parisien, with its variety of musical performances at the Hotel Nacional.

Day 6: Havana – Dancing Classes & Casa de La Musica Visit

Today will be the last day of your dancing course. In the afternoon you will get the chance to find out how much you have learned during your salsa lessons: apply the salsa theory into practice in the Casa de la Múscia with live Cuban Salsa band. In the evening we join a special farewell dinner in the restaurant La Floridiana. A cocktail will be offered in the piano bar afterwards to celebrate our great holiday in Cuba and prepare ourselves for departure.

Day 7: Depart Havana

The morning is at your leisure and you can use it to do sightseeing around Havana or shop for last gifts and souvenirs from Cuba. In the afternoon, we will visit the Patio de la Rumba, the centre of the “Conjunto Folklorico Nacional” – a folkloristic national dance organization. Here, you will be treated to a special live show: Afro-Cuban music. You are more than welcome to join in! Later you may depart for your flight back home or you continue with your own holiday arrangements in Cuba.
