You will taste traditional cuisines and feel the rhythm of Cuban salsa in your bones. In Santiago de Cuba you’ll see how they make the world famous Cuban cigar and how they make sugar cane into the country’s most popular spirit, Rum. In Cayo Coco you will be able to enjoy white sandy beaches and the calm waters of the Caribbean sea before heading to the strong colonial heritage town of Trinidad.

Day 1: Arrive Havana

On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Old Havana.

Day 2: Havana

Morning tour of old Havana before stopping for lunch at a local restaurant. Enjoy a night of salsa dancing in a typical Cuban bar.

Day 3: Havana

Morning tour to learn about Cuba’s many religions and traditions. Sights visited include the farmers market & Babalao house. Visit to a local musician’s house to learn about the origins of Cuban music.

Day 4: Havana – Santiago De Cuba

Transfer to airport for your flight to Santiago de Cuba. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 5: Santiago De Cuba

Conquer the streets of Santiago in a vintage car before venturing into the Rum museum and factory. City tour including Moncada barracks, Revolution Square, baseball stadium and Manduley Avenue in the historic quarter.

Day 6: Santiago De Cuba – Holguin

Morning bus journey Holguin. Afternoon city tour including a fascinating museum in an old colonial barrack.

Day 7: Holguin – Camaguey – Cayo Coco

Morning transfer to Camaguey. Discover the diverse architecture of this UNESCO World Heritage City. Afternoon transfer to Cayo Coco island.

Day 8: Cayo Coco

Day at leisure to enjoy the world famous white-sand beaches.

Day 9: Cayo Coco – Trinidad

Transfer to Trinidad. Nightlife tour with a local guide including dinner and dancing.

Day 10: Trinidad

Full day tour including morning city tour of Trinidad followed by Topes de Collante Mountains.

Day 11: Trinidad – Santa Clara – Havana

Transfer to Santa Clara via Sancti Spiritus. Afternoon city tour including Che Mausoleum before your coach back to Havana.

Day 12: Depart Havana

Transfer to the airport.

Day 1: Arrive in Havana

On arrival you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel located in Old Havana.

Day 2: Havana

Morning walking tour of Old Havana. Be immersed in its history and charm as you wander through the labyrinth of streets that lead to the beautiful Plaza Vieja and Plaza de la Catedral. Enjoy lunch at typical Cuban restaurant.

Day 3: Havana

Discover the scenic beauty of the Viñales Valley and learn more about Cuba’s tobacco industry, during your visit to a small tobacco plantation and a local cigar factory. Enjoy a typical Cuban lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon take a boat ride through an underground cave that was once an indigenous dwelling, Cueva del Indio, before returning to Havana.

Day 4: Havana – Santa Clara – Cayo Coco

Overland transfer to Santa Clara. Enjoy a historical tour of this beautiful city, steeped in history as a result of the battles that took place during the Cuban revolution. Visit the Che Guevara Mausoleum and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, before continuing on to Cayo Coco, a tropical island in the Jardines del Rey archipelago.

Day 5: Cayo Coco

Cayo Coco with its pristine white sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters and 32 kilometres of coral reef, offers the perfect setting for those seeking for relaxation. Spend the next three days relaxing by the beach, snorkelling in turquoise waters or exploring the nearby Cayo Guillermo, one of Hemmingway’s favourite fishing spots in Cuba; which inspired him to write the bestselling title “Islands in the Stream”..

Day 6: Cayo Coco
