Experience the strong Mayan heritage and colonial influences all set in the snow-capped volcanoes and mountainside of Guatemala. Begin your journey in the walk-able picturesque island and town of Flores before visiting key archaeological sites that so few have even set eyes on such as the Mayan ruins and pyramids in Yaxha, Topoxte, Tikal and Copan. You’ll walk the cobblestone streets of Antigua and visit the colorful town and market of Chichicastennango before ending your trip in the heart of Guatemala, Guatemala City.

Day 1: Flores
Arrival in Flores. Transfer to a hotel in Flores or Tikal for overnight accommodations.
Day 2: Flores – Ceibal – Flores
Transfer to Ceibal for sightseeing of the archaeological site. After lunch transfer back to your hotel.
Day 3: Flores – Yaxha & Topoxte – Flores
Transfer to Yaxha & Topoxte for sightseeing of the archaeological sites. After lunch transfer back to Flores or Tikal for overnight accommodations.
Day 4: Tikal
Sightseeing archaeological site of Tikal.
Day 5: Tikal – Rio Dulce
Transfer to Rio Dulce, upon arrival in the morning join the launch excursion to Livingston and the Castillo de San Felipe. Overnight at Rio Dulce.
Day 6: Rio Dulce – Copan
After breakfast you will visit the archaeological site of Quirigua. In the afternoon proceed to Copan, Honduras for overnight accommodations.
Day 7: Copan – Guatemala City
After breakfast you will visit the archaeological site of Copan. In the afternoon you will return to Guatemala City.
Day 8: Guatemala City – Chichicastenango
In the morning, leave for Chichicastenango. On arrival visit the colourful open-air market and Church of Santo Tomas. The afternoon is at leisure for further shopping or to see the town on your own.
Day 9: Chichicastenango – Lake Atitlan
In the morning, transfer to Lake Atitlan and navigate to the picturesque lake-side village of Santiago Atitlan. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 10: Lake Atitlan – Antigua
Morning departure for Sololá, where you will visit the Indian market. In the afternoon, continue to Antigua for overnight accommodations.
Day 11: Antigua – Guatemala City
After breakfast you will visit the most interesting sites of Antigua including churches, convents, monasteries, and other colonial buildings. After lunch, continue to Guatemala City for overnight accommodations.
Day 12: Guatemala City
Transfer to airport.
