Day 1: Arrive VictoriaYour journey begins today upon your arrival in Victoria. Be met at the airport and then transferred to your hotel. After you check-in and relax, you will meet your fellow guests and Tour Director at a Welcome Reception later today.

Day 2: VictoriaThis morning, enjoy a short orientation tour of Victoria before visiting The Butchart Gardens. Among the most famous gardens in the world, The Butchart Gardens are more than a hundred years old and have a distinctive style all of its own. Spend time wandering through the lovely Sunken Garden and relax in the beautiful setting of the Japanese Garden and Italian Garden. Explore the plants on show, as well as floral displays. Perhaps take a whale-watching cruise or a horse-drawn carriage tour.
Day 3: Victoria, WhistlerDrive to the town of Chemainus before boarding a ferry across the Georgia Strait to Horseshoe Bay. Admire the Coastal Mountains as you travel along the scenic Sea to Sky Highway with a stop at Shannon Falls on your way to Whistler. Enjoy an indigenous-inspired dinner at the Lil’ wat Squamish Cultural Centre, and gain insight into the heritage of the local First Nations. Instead of taking the ferry, you may like to take an enthralling floatplane flight across Georgia Strait to Whistler.

Day 4: WhistlerToday is yours at leisure to explore this outdoor enthusiasts’ paradise however you wish. Enjoy one of the select experiences available to you today. You might like to take an incredible float plane flight, tour Blackcomb Mountain on a Jeep Safari, or head up to the snow-line of Whistler Mountain by 4x4 or snowcat. Day 7: JasperAfter breakfast today, you have the full day to take time out to relax or explore Jasper. There is no end to the excitement you can take part in in this beautiful town. You might like to take in the sights on a unique and incredible Harley Davidson Sidecar Tour; set off on a thrilling rafting adventure on the Athabasca River or enjoy a memorable evening wildlife experience.
Day 8: Jasper, Icefields Parkway, Athabasca Glacier, Lake LouiseVisit the gorgeous Maligne Canyon this morning and walk along its deep rocky caverns. Then, travel along the Icefields Parkway, considered the world’s most scenic highway, and stop at the Columbia Icefield for a thrilling Ice Explorer ride onto Athabasca Glacier. After, continue to Lake Louise, the ‘Jewel of the Rockies’ and one of the world’s most stunning locations. Settle into The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and relax in spectacular surrounds.
Day 9: Lake Louise, BanffTravel to the glacier-fed Moraine Lake (weather permitting) on your way to Banff National Park. This afternoon, explore the town of Banff on a sightseeing tour, then ride the Banff Gondola along Sulphur Mountain for incredible views of the surrounding area.

Day 13: VancouverWatch for bears and enjoy a delicious breakfast at Grouse Mountain. Day 15: Inside PassageEnjoy a full day at sea at the beginning of your incredible journey. Day 16: Tracy Arm, JuneauToday your journey brings you to Juneau, which is Alaska’s capital. Located at the foot of grand mountain peaks on the Gastineau Channel, the massive Mendenhall Glacier and Juneau Icefields are situated at the city’s back door. Spend some time to take in the diverse terrain or perhaps make your way to the town and explore the rustic shops located here. Alternatively, you may also like to experience an exhilarating dog sled ride over a glacier. Other activities available to you include sampling salmon baked over a fire or even trying your hand at panning for gold (all activities are at own expense).
Day 17: SkagwayToday you’ll dock at the port of Skagway, which is located at the northernmost point of the Inside Passage. Skagway was once a frontier town and gateway to the Klondike and still celebrates its gold rush past to this day. You will find a variety of stores and saloons in town that capture the excitement and history of the gold rush days. Here you’ll also have the opportunity to learn more about gold prospecting or view some of the fascinating local wildlife (own expense).
Day 18: Glacier BayWake up to the breathtaking sight of Glacier Bay National Park this morning, with its formidable rivers of ice, wild coastline and sheltered fjords. As you cruise through the national park, it is easy to see why the area has received World Heritage status. Today, you’ll gain a more detailed insight into the unique nature of this national park as local rangers will join you on board to impart their knowledge explain the geological wonders and diverse wildlife of this incredible region.
Day 19: KetchikanArrive today in the Alaskan town of Ketchikan, renowned for its idyllic scenery, rich Alaskan Native culture, and as the salmon capital of the world. Here, you will have free time to relax and explore the town at your leisure. Perhaps join a walking tour of the town or learn about fascinating Tlingit culture at Saxman Native Village (both at own expense).
Day 20: Inside PassageToday marks your final day on board your premium Holland America Line cruise ship. You’ll spend the day cruising south through the Inside Passage and its magnificent landscapes and towering glaciers. Relax on board and enjoy the premium facilities of your ship as you take in the incredible views. This evening, savour a final dinner.
Day 21: Disembark Cruise, Depart VancouverYour journey comes to an end today. After a final breakfast on board your cruise ship, you will disembark in Vancouver and be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.

Afterwards, visit the village of Niagara-on-the-Lake on the way to the spectacular sight of famous Niagara Falls, which is collectively made up of three impressive waterfalls. Later, you will board a thrilling boat cruise for a journey to the base of Horseshoe Falls (raincoats provided). Perhaps you might like to take an exciting helicopter ride over Niagara Falls.
Day 3: 1000 Islands, OttawaContinue on your journey to Ottawa today. Along the way, enjoy a cruise around the 1000 Islands of the St Lawrence Seaway. Cruise past tiny islands, castles reminiscent of fairytales, and island mansions. You’ll be taken back to a time when pirates and bootleggers roamed the area, and to the Gilded Age, a time when the rich and famous used the area as their personal playground.

Spend the day in Sydney on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. There are highland villages to visit, the scenic Cabot Trail to explore, golden inland seas to sail and the Fortress of Louisbourg to inspect. This is a true step back in time, as every barn, barracks and drum corps appears just as it did when French King Louis’ troops occupied the site in 1744.
Day 15: HalifaxFor ocean scenery at its best, it is hard to beat Nova Scotia’s south shore. Here, find craggy coastlines, the fabled Peggy’s Cove, and the striking German village of Lunenburg, which is so meticulously restored it has been designated a World Heritage-listed site. After your time exploring here, journey back to Halifax, Nova Scotia’s bustling capital. Spend time exploring the ramparts of Halifax Citadel and a museum commemorating the Titanic.
Day 16: Bar HarborCross into the United States and arrive in Bar Harbor, once the exclusive summer resort of America’s fabulously wealthy. Today, Bar Harbor is an artists’ enclave and gateway to the rich natural beauty of Acadia National Park, much of which was donated by the Rockefeller family.
