Day 1: Arrive Phoenix – Scottsdale

Sun-kissed Phoenix kickstarts your journey through America’s stunning Southwest. You’ll have the day on your own to recover from your travels, then meet your Travel Director and fellow travellers for a Welcome Reception later this evening.

Day 2: Scottsdale – Sedona – Grand Canyon National Park

Your first stop today is in the artists’ enclave of Sedona – surrounded by red-rock buttes, steep canyon walls and pine forests. You’ll travel through Oak Creek Canyon next, with its rocky red cliffs, then venture to the UNESCO-listed Grand Canyon National Park, where a Local Specialist will share the canyon’s many geological marvels. Tonight, you’ll have an opportunity to overnight at one of the lodges inside the park.

Day 3: Grand Canyon National Park – Monument Valley Tribal Park – Bluff

Rise early for an optional flightseeing over the Grand Canyon and then trace the scenic South Rim of the Grand Canyon along Desert View Drive. Stop at Cameron Trading Post to browse through handicrafts and perhaps sample traditional fry bread. Continue to Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park where you’ll board 4X4 vehicles to navigate the iconic red valley landscape guided by a member of the Navajo Nation and Local Specialist. Savour the flavours of the Southwest this evening with an included dinner.

Day 4: Bluff – Canyonlands National Park – Moab

Sit back and watch the scenery unfold as you drive along Utah’s Scenic Byway 191 between Bluff and Moab. Arriving at Canyonlands National Park, we ascend the Island in the Sky mesa and admire the spectacular scenery below.

Day 5: Arches National Park Excursion and Moab

This morning, discover how the forces of wind and rain have shaped the enchanting landscape of Arches National Park. Later, enjoy a free afternoon or consider a deeper exploration of the area with an optional guided hike to Delicate Arch if you’re feeling adventurous.

Day 6: Moab – Mesa Verde National Park – Durango

We arrive in the UNESCO-listed Mesa Verde National Park to delve into the history and culture of the Ancestral Puebloan people. Explore their beautifully preserved sandstone dwellings and admire the massive Cliff Palace. This evening, in Durango, your ‘Stay with Story’ is historic Strater Hotel. You’ll have a choice of different restaurants for dinner, served with wine.

Day 7: Durango Free Time

Enjoy free time in Durango today. Perhaps, enjoy a truly unforgettable step back in time, on an optional ride aboard the coal-fired, steam-powered narrow-gauge train to the historic mining town of Silverton. The train chugs along rails that were originally laid at the end of the 19th century, winding through a spectacular wilderness which would be inaccessible by car. If you’re feeling more adventurous, opt for a white water rafting trip on the Animas River.

Day 8: Durango – Taos – Santa Fe

This morning’s drive takes you through the towns of Vallecito, Pagosa Springs and Chama before arriving in Taos, where there will be time at Taos Plaza, a Historical Landmark. Then, meet a Navajo who lives in the pueblo, to explore the only living Native American community designated both a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and a National Historic Landmark. The journey continues along the High Road, the Taos – Santa Fe Scenic Byway, rich in history, art and culture. Arrive at the hotel, ideally located two short blocks from Santa Fe’s Historic Plaza.

Day 9: Santa Fe Sightseeing and Free Time

Join your Local Specialist this morning on a guided tour of Santa Fe. Experience this city where Spanish, Native American and Old West influences all combine to form a city with its own exclusive culture and character. See many of the city’s major sights before you have the rest of the day to pursue your own interests. Perhaps venture down the artistic hub of Canyon Road lined with galleries, visit some of the city’s top museums, or shop for Native American art and handicraft. This evening enjoy a Farewell Dinner with wine at one of Santa Fe’s many restaurants.

Day 10: Depart Santa Fe or Albuquerque

Our journey through desert landscapes at its end, take a transfer to Santa Fe Airport. A group transfer to Albuquerque is also available.

Day 1: Arrive Grand Junction

The ‘River City’ extends a warm welcome as your launch pad to an in-depth encounter with the Mighty Five National Parks of Utah. Relax after your journey or explore on your own before joining your Travel Director and fellow travellers this evening for a Welcome Reception.

Day 2: Grand Junction – Canyonlands National Park – Moab

We head to canyon country this morning and see first-hand the power of the Colorado River carving its way through the rocky red landscape at Canyonlands National Park. Ascend to the top of the Island in the Sky mesa and admire Canyonlands’ spectacular landscape below. We will hike to Grand View Point Overlook, Whale Rock and Green River Overlook. Tonight we will also be joined by a Local Specialist, Tom Till, a renowned National Park photographer, who will give us guidance on how to take the best photos on this trip. After you head to dinner to end your night.

Day 3: Arches National Park

Admire the exquisite natural sandstone shapes that dot the landscape in Arches National Park. Learn how Mother Nature’s magic touch has left her indelible mark with wind and rain when you view or embark on a strenuous hike up to famous Delicate Arch. Continue your exploration with a walk to Double Arch, Landscape Arch or Turret Arch. Take a well-deserved break this afternoon or explore the town of Moab at your leisure.

Day 4: Moab – Capitol Reef National Park

See the other-worldly hoodoos of Goblin Valley State Park this morning – these mushroom-shaped rock pinnacles make for a memorable hike and photo opportunity before you arrive at Capitol Reef National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy some free time to explore on your own. In the evening, enjoy the rustic charm of this special resort, located on the edge of the park, offering truly spectacular landscapes, and breathtaking views.

Day 5: Capitol Reef National Park – Bryce Canyon National Park

Lace up your boots for an exhilarating morning hike in Capitol Reef National Park, whose colourful canyons and capitol-shaped domes provide the perfect backdrop for an adventure. Continue your journey along an “All American Road”, Highway 12, one of America’s most scenic highways, before embarking on a short hike in Kodachrome Basin State Park. Here, you will have the opportunity to select the trail that best suits your adventurous spirit. This dramatic landscape features striking layered stone spires which are a sight to behold. We continue to Bryce Canyon National Park, where we’ll spend the next two nights.

Day 6: Bryce Canyon Free Time

You’ll have a full free day to relax or explore the eerie landscape of Bryce Canyon National Park today. Everyone will be able to self select hikes and walks that best suit them, from leisurely to strenuous. Admire the rusty red limestone spires that rise up surreally from the desert floor to meet Utah’s skies from scenic viewpoints or follow one of the many trails into the hoodoos and beyond.

Day 7: Bryce Canyon National Park – Lake Powell

A pink, red and orange canvas awaits visitors to Coral Pink Sands State Park. Climb up the coral-hued dunes to admire the wind sculpted ripples of the dunes. Embark to make your way to Antelope Canyon to hike in the world-renowned slot canyon. Then do a short hike to see Horseshoe Bend and the flowing Colorado River which has carved its way through the red-coloured sandstone.

Day 8: Lake Powell Free Time

Enjoy a full free day to spend as you wish in the water wonderland that is Lake Powell. Relax and rejuvenate on the lake or consider joining one of the organised optional activities, like our famed Colorado River Float Trip. Or an optional helicopter ride up to the top of Tower Butte for 360′ views of the world below you.

Day 9: Lake Powell – Zion National Park

Arriving into Zion National Park late morning, select from many fantastic hikes including Watchman Trail, Hidden Canyon, Angel’s Landing, Observation Point and the Narrows. They range from easy to strenuous. Later, this evening, join your new friends and Travel Director for a well-deserved Farewell Dinner.

Day 10: Zion National Park – Depart Las Vegas

Don’t leave Zion without a morning hike under your belt. You’ll have the whole morning to spend as you wish before departing for Las Vegas mid-afternoon. Airport arrival will be at 6.00pm, please be aware when booking your flights.

Day 10: Santa Fe – White Sands National Park – Las Cruces

Leave Santa Fe bound for White Sands National Park, driving along scenic drives that capture the spirit of this Land of Enchantment. This is Billy the Kid country, where legends play against a spectacular backdrop of snowy peaks, rolling rivers, orchards and ranchlands. Stop at White Sands National Monument – like no other place on earth, the great wave-like dunes of gypsum sand form the world’s largest gypsum dune field. Walk these dreamy parabolic dunes barefoot, which unlike conventional sand stays cool to the touch. Next is Las Cruces on the edge of the Chihuahuan Desert. ‘Dive Into Culture’ as you learn about the production of New Mexico’s renowned spicy chilli and major-league pecan production. Dinner is at a local restaurant in town this evening.

Day 11: Las Cruces – Tombstone – Tucson

Blazing a trail across the Southwest, continue to Tombstone, a trip back in time to the days of the old Wild West. Meet with Arizona Bill, your guide for a private tour of the town. Here in “The Town Too Tough To Die,” hear the tales from this legendary frontier mining camp, make a stop by the OK Corral and hear about the infamous shootout, which some have called the world’s most famous 30-second gunfight. See inside the home of Wyatt Earp and his gunfighting friend Doc Holliday. Arrive at the AAA Four Diamond, 500 acres resort with amazing desert and mountain views in the Southwest.

Day 12: Saguaro National Park and Tucson Foodie Tour

Start the morning with a visit to Saguaro National Park East, home to 1.6 million of the nation’s largest cacti – the giant saguaro. As you enter the park you’ll see large stands of gigantic saguaro cacti creating a breathtaking saguaro forest in the middle of a desert environment. Drive along the Cactus Forest Loop before heading to Downtown Tucson to ‘Dive into Culture’ and become a Tucson Foodie. Sample dishes from various restaurants and you’ll understand why Tucson was named the first UNESCO City of Gastronomy in the USA. Back at the resort there is time to relax before a farm-to-table Farewell Dinner concocted by Chef Joshua Willett. After dinner, go on a date with the stars. Tucson is recognized as Dark Sky City by the International Dark Sky Association and Local Specialist Ben Loker and his team of astronomers will reveal the secrets of the universe with their customized, transportable computerized telescopes.

Day 13: Depart Tucson or Phoenix

Your journey through the American Southwest comes to an end as you are taken to Tucson Airport. There is also an option aboard the coach to Phoenix International Airport, where you will arrive around 11 am.

This evening, meet your Travel Director and fellow travelers for a Welcome Reception and then soar 550 feet above the center of the Las Vegas Strip on the High Roller, the world’s tallest observation wheel.

Day 3: Bryce Canyon – Salt Lake City

Travel north to Utah’s capital to see its Mormon centre – Temple Square – and discover the basic beliefs and history of the Mormon pioneers. This evening, choose to enjoy an optional dinner at the Roof Restaurant, Utah’s premier gourmet dining location.

Day 4: Salt Lake City – Montpelier – Jackson

Imagine a time when brave pioneers travelled West in search of a better life as you cross the Oregon Trail, stopping in Montpelier at the Oregon Trail Center. Enjoy lunch at a covered wagon-themed restaurant before departing to scenic Jackson, which stands in the shadows of the icy peaks of the Teton Range. Enjoy an evening at leisure.

Day 5: Jackson – Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks

Day 7: Yellowstone – Cody – Billings

Pay tribute to “Buffalo Bill” in his hometown of Cody, where you’ll visit the Buffalo Bill Center of the West museum complex to gain a deeper understanding of the “Spirit of the American West”. Then it’s on to Big Sky Country where we ‘Connect with Locals’ in an effortlessly delivered authentic encounter with true Western hospitality dinner.

Day 8: Billings – Little Bighorn – Rapid City

Our day begins with a visit to Little Bighorn, the infamous battlefield where the ill-fated Custer led his men against a battalion of Sioux and Cheyenne warriors. Continue east through the Black Hills to Rapid City.

Day 9: Black Hills Excursion

Venture into the Black Hills of South Dakota as you make your way to the base of Crazy Horse Memorial. As you gaze at the colossal carved face of this famous war leader, learn how your visit ‘Makes a Difference’ by preserving Native American Culture. We continue to Mount Rushmore to view the faces of former American presidents etched into the granite rock-face, then ‘Dive into Culture’ with Stephen Yellowhawk, who will regale you with stories of his tribe’s history during a festive dinner.

Day 10: Rapid City – Denver

Travel south through the expansive prairies of Wyoming to Denver, the Mile High City, where you’ll enjoy an evening with a light dinner.

Day 11: Denver – Vail – Moab

Ascend into the foothills of the Rockies and cross the Continental Divide en route to the alpine village of Vail, renowned for its epic powder-filled alpine basins that have attracted skiers since the 1960s. We continue to Moab for an evening on your terms.

Day 12: Canyonlands and Arches National Parks Excursion

Our national park journey takes us to Canyon Country, where we see first-hand the power of the Colorado River carving its way through the rocky red landscape at Canyonlands National Park. Next up, the Arches National Park provides an insightful encounter with thousands of natural sandstone arches formed by rain and wind where you may choose to take a short hike to iconic Delicate Arch view point.

Day 13: Moab – Mesa Verde National Park – Monument Valley

Admire the ancient cliff dwellings of the Ancestral Puebloan people, carved out of the sandstone of the canyon walls at the UNESCO-listed Mesa Verde National Park. Our connection with the first nations of this land continues as we enjoy a cookout Regional Dinner in Monument Valley.

Day 14: Monument Valley – Grand Canyon National Park

Explore the red valley floor of Monument Valley in a special open-air vehicle, accompanied by a Local Specialist. Visit the land of the Navajo people, stopping at the historic Cameron Trading Post, before arriving at the UNESCO-listed Grand Canyon where you’ll meet a Local Specialist. Gain a deeper understanding of into how this immense canyon came to be and why, as Theodore Roosevelt once proclaimed, “it is beyond comparison-beyond description”. Toast to the Trafalgar Highlights of America’s national parks and enjoy a Farewell Dinner with new friends inside the park.

Day 15: Grand Canyon – Depart Las Vegas

Consider an optional helicopter or fixed-wing aircraft flightseeing trip over the canyon before hitting the road again. End your journey in Las Vegas where a transfer is provided to Las Vegas International Airport or to Harrah’s Las Vegas for guests extending their stay.

Day 1: Arrive Denver

Channel your inner pioneer as you embark on an epic encounter with the peaks, canyons and deserts of what was once the treacherous Wild West. We kick-start our expedition in Denver, exploring the Mile High City at your leisure before meeting our Travel Director and fellow expeditioners for a Welcome Reception this evening.

Day 2: Denver – Vail – Moab

Start off your trip with breakfast as you prepare for the day of exploration ahead. Descend into the foothills of the Rockies and cross the Continental Divide en route to the alluring alpine village of Vail. The launch-pad to powder days enjoyed within a world of startling white, Vail’s enchanting old-world feel will linger in your mind as you journey to Moab, whose rugged beauty was immortalised on the big screen by the legendary John Ford in the 1940s. Admire the blazing rocky red cliffs as the sun sets or explore this gateway to a myriad of adventures – tonight is yours to enjoy on your terms.

Day 3: Canyonlands and Arches National Parks Excursion

Tread lightly through the captivating landscapes of Utah’s Canyonlands and Arches as you explore Mother Nature’s profound mark on the surrounding geology. Deep canyons, towering spires and mesas give way to thousands of fiery sandstone arches during today’s encounter with two soul-stirring national parks. See iconic Delicate Arch and if you like, take a short hike to the view point for an up close look. Reconnect with nature and admire how the land has adapted to the ravages of wind, water and time. Then, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 4: Moab – Mesa Verde National Park – Monument Valley

This morning, we’ll arrive at the UNESCO-listed Mesa Verde National Park, we’ll enjoy a rare opportunity to delve into the history and culture of the once-flourishing community of the Ancestral Pueblo people. Explore their beautifully preserved dwellings hewn from the sandstone cliff centuries ago and look down at the massive Cliff Palace, the largest cliff dwelling in the world. This evening, we join our generous Navajo hosts for a traditional cookout Regional Dinner against the surreal backdrop of Monument Valley.

Day 5: Monument Valley – Grand Canyon National Park

The arresting beauty of Monument Valley is ours to explore this morning as we join a Local Specialist for a drive in an open-air vehicle past its towering sandstone buttes and mesas that rise up from the barren landscape. We continue through the ancestral home of the Navajo, arriving at Cameron Trading Post for a quick shopping stop and perhaps a taste of traditional fry bread. Driving along the scenic Desert View Drive, we skirt the South Rim of the Grand Canyon and gaze into its mesmerising multi-coloured depths before meeting another Local Specialist to gain insights into its geologic life. Our grand adventure almost at its end, we join our fellow travellers for a Farewell Dinner to reminisce over the epic landscapes encountered along our journey.

Day 6: Grand Canyon National Park – Las Vegas

Rise early to catch the first rays of light as they illuminate the canyon. Consider an optional helicopter or fixed-wing aircraft flightseeing trip to view this feat of nature from the sky or enjoy a leisurely morning, before we journey to Sin City. Desolation gives way to desert oases as we cruise back in time past motels, diners and gas stations towards the dazzling lights of Las Vegas.

Day 7: Depart Las Vegas

Our exhilarating adventure through the canyon lands has unfortunately come to an end. Grab some breakfast as you prepare to say farewell to your friends, then take your transfer to Las Vegas International Airport or consider extending your stay at Harrah’s.

Leave the bright neon lights of Las Vegas behind and cross the old Mojave gold – strike country, travel on a stretch of the legendary Route 66 to Grand Canyon National Park. Marvel at one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World as you experience the dramatic views. There’s time to wander along the canyon rim, join a ranger – led program, or perhaps just savour the sunset.

Day 3: Grand Canyon National Park – Lake Powel

For a once – in – a lifetime experience, take our optional flightseeing excursion over the heart of the Grand Canyon for incomparable views of flame – coloured walls plunging 1464 metres (4,800 feet) into the Colorado River. Later this morning, we travel north to the shining shores of Lake Powell, created in 1963 when the Glen Canyon Dam held back the waters of the mighty Colorado River, forming a vast blue lake surrounded by beautiful sandstone walls. Upon arrival, enjoy a leisurely boat Cruise and the opportunity to photograph the fascinating scenes created by the sharply eroded canyon walls. Your lakeside resort features sweeping views over the lake.

Day 4: Lake Powell

Today is yours to explore on your own. Wake early to watch the sunrise where the magical landscape turns from purple to pink. Enjoy your time at leisure today, sit back and enjoy all the amenities your resort offers or perhaps join the optional trip to picturesque Antelope Canyon with a Navajo guide to see a spectacular petrified sand dune, created by wind, water and sand to present a sculptured slot canyon masterpiece. Or take a flightseeing trip over Lake Powell for a new perspective of the vast rugged area seeing the famous Rainbow Bridge and Glen Canyon Dam.

Day 5: Lake Powell – Monument Valley

This morning, continue into Navajo country to Goulding’s Lodge in the heart of Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park. As you approach the lodge, witness one of the most dramatic and photographed points on earth. Upon arrival, take a dip in the pool and admire the Western sky above or perhaps explore the Goulding’s Museum and Trading Post, home to a wonderful collection of movie memorabilia and Indian artifacts. Tonight, travel with a Navajo guide into the red rock backcountry for a private Navajo Cookout. Hear the stories and legends the Navajo people while enjoying dinner.

Day 6: Monument Valley – Moab

In the cool hours of morning, set out with a Navajo guide in a comfortable 4 – Wheel – Drive vehicle to explore Monument Valley. On your backcountry trip, visit a Navajo Hogan (traditional housing) for a rugweaving demonstration by a local weaver. Have your camera ready for incredible shots. Later, we continue north to Moab, an outdoor mecca, for a relaxing 2 – night stay at Red Cliffs Lodge on the Colorado River. Enjoy a Wine Tasting at the resort’s winery, followed by a western BBQ overlooking the Colorado River.

Next, on to magnificent Canyonlands National Park and Dead Horse Point State Park for aerial views of winding rivers through deep red rock canyons. The remainder of the day is yours to relax at your resort. Perhaps enjoy a relaxing massage, a game of tennis, or a hike along one of the many trails.

Day 8: Moab – Capitol Reef National Park – Bryce Canyon National Park

This morning, travel along Utah’s Journey Through Time Scenic Byway, witnessing diverse, remote and ruggedly beautiful landscapes. Drive through the pristine Capitol Reef National Park where the land bends into a giant ripple having been tortured and twisted over millions of years. Marvel at the engineering as the road travels over hogbacks, slick rock, and through steep canyons. Keep your camera handy as this route is one of the most spectacular drives in North America. Continue through the land of natural bridges, narrow canyons, and expansive views to Bryce Canyon National Park.

Day 9: Bryce Canyon National Park

A day of rich contrasts leads you to Bryce Canyon National Park. The slow erosion of the land has created fantastically sculptured rock formations called Hoodoos that resemble castle towers, cathedral spires, and squatting goblins. As the light changes throughout the day, the natural amphitheatres and canyons glow between distinct oranges, reds, and yellows creating a striking background for photographic masterpieces. Spend the day hiking into the park’s natural amphitheatres, photographing the changing light on the Hoodoos, or searching for one of the dozens of species that call this unique place home.

Day 10: Bryce Canyon National Park – Zion National Park – Las Vegas

After breakfast, descend into half – mile – deep Zion National Park. Meaning a place of peace and refuge known to nourish the soul, Zion’s colourful sandstone walls rise thousands of feet above the verdant valleys of vermillion cliffs high above the canyon floor’s lush greenery and snaking Virgin River. Zion’s unique array of scenery, plants, and animals – plus rich history – will make this a breathtaking and memorable day. Take advantage of today’s photo opportunities galore. Then, head for the excitement of Las Vegas, where you’ll stay at Treasure Island in the heart of the “Strip.” Tonight, enjoy a farewell dinner hosted by your Tour Director.

Tonight, savour a sunset in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Day 3: Grand Canyon National Park – Monument Valley

This morning, you may want to join an exciting helicopter flight over the canyon or enjoy a hike on one of the many trails. Your local Navajo guide will show you some of the valley’s most incredible scenery and share their local legends and lore. Tonight will be spent at historic Goulding’s Lodge, where you will be treated to a Navajo Cookout and learn about the local Dineh (people) who call this land home.

Day 4: Monument Valley – Arches National Park – Moab

Today, continue north to Moab to explore the incredible landscape of Arches National Park. The park contains more than 2,000 natural sandstone arches and formations, including Balanced Rock, Park Avenue, and Delicate Arch. Tonight, enjoy your evening at leisure by visiting one of the many shops on Main Street.

Day 5: Moab – Colorado National Monument – Grand Junction – Denver

This morning, travel east into Colorado and visit the Colorado National Monument for sweeping views of sheer – walled canyons and the desert land of the high Colorado Plateau below. Stop in Colorado’s wine country, where you’ll enjoy lunch and a Wine Tasting. We then journey east across the Rocky Mountains to the “Mile High City” of Denver. This evening, why not stroll the city’s pedestrian 16th Street Mall and take advantage of the shopping, dining, and entertainment?

Day 6: Denver – Custer State Park

Today, travel across the windswept landscape of Wyoming and into the Black Hills of South Dakota. Spend the next two nights in beautiful Custer State Park. Formed in 1897, the park is the second – largest state park in America. Its 73,000 breathtaking acres are home to a variety of wildlife, including bison, pronghorn antelope, mountain goats, whitetail deer, bighorn sheep, mountain lions, wild burros, and elk.

Special Feature: Stay at the historic State Game Lodge, which served as the “Summer White House” for President Calvin Coolidge. Relax with a cool drink on the front porch and let Mother Nature entertain you.

Day 7: Custer State Park – Excursion To Mount Rushmore & Crazy Horse Memorial

This morning, visit Mount Rushmore National Memorial, which stands as a shrine to democracy. The epic sculpture depicts the faces of four legendary American presidents who symbolise this nation’s rich history, rugged determination, and lasting achievement. Then, visit the Crazy Horse Memorial, built in honour of the fearless Sioux Indian chief, whose fame is derived from the Battle of Little Bighorn. Learn about the sculpture, his family, and the future of the project. Later, return to Custer State Park and be a part of an exciting Buffalo Safari. Have your camera ready for great photo opportunities. Then, enjoy an old – fashioned Chuckwagon Cookout, complete with Western entertainment.

Day 8: Custer State Park – Deadwood – Sheridan

Start today by exploring the Wild West town of Deadwood. Take a journey through time as you travel down cobblestone streets and hear stories of all the legendary characters that contributed to the town’s history, such as Wild Bill Hickok, Calamity Jane, and Potato Creek Johnny. Next enjoy a photo stop of infamous Devil’s Tower, before continuing west to the frontier town of Sheridan.

Day 9: Sheridan – Yellowstone National Park

This morning, travel to Yellowstone National Park, established in 1872 as the world’s first national park. Spend the next two days exploring the beauty of this National treasure, spanning nearly 5600 square kilometres (3,500 square miles) atop a volcanic hot spot.

Special Feature: Enjoy two nights inside Yellowstone National Park. Each lodge has its own unique setting and atmosphere. Lodges featured are the Old Faithful Inn, Lake Yellowstone Hotel, Grant Village, Old Faithful Snow Lodge, and Canyon Lodge. Specific lodges will be confirmed in your documents.

Spend the day exploring all the wonders of Yellowstone. See worldfamous Old Faithful Geyser, the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, and Fountain Paint Pot. Be on the lookout for some of the park’s wildlife that can include moose, bison, elk, deer, bighorn sheep, wolves, bear, fox, coyote, and beaver.

Day 11: Yellowstone National Park – Grand Teton National Park – Jackson

Journey south today and visit Grand Teton National Park. The park’s world – renowned scenery attracts more than 4 million visitors per year. See beautiful glacier – fed Jenny Lake and stroll along the shore before continuing to Jackson. This evening, why not visit the Antler Arches, enjoy a drink at one of the swinging – door saloons, or shop for the perfect cowboy hat?

Day 12: Jackson – Salt Lake City

Continue your journey south today through Wyoming and into Utah. Arrive in Salt Lake City, founded by Mormon pioneer Brigham Young in 1847. More recently, the city played host to the 2002 Olympics and now offers a vibrant downtown with a variety of stores, attractions, and restaurants. Enjoy an orientation tour before arriving at your hotel.

Day 13: Salt Lake City – Bryce Canyon National Park

Today’s highlight is a visit to unique Bryce Canyon National Park. Here, you’ll discover a breathtaking landscape full of pinnacles of stone and colours that defy the imagination. This evening, why not do some stargazing? Bryce is one of the best places to view stars because of its remote location and lack of pollution. On some nights, more than 7,500 stars are visible.

Day 14: Bryce Canyon National Park – Zion National Park –  Las Vegas

This morning, visit Zion National Park with its dramatic landscape of canyons and soaring cliffs. We then return to Las Vegas and overnight in the heart of the famous Las Vegas “Strip.” This evening, your Tour Director hosts a special farewell dinner.
