Day 1: Arrive Chiang Mai
Welcome to Chiang Mai Airport. Be greeted by our representative and transferred to the Imperial Mae Ping for check-in. The remainder of the day is free at leisure.

Day 2: Chiang Mai – Private Half Day Doi Suthep & Temples
Visit the most sacred temple in the North of Thailand: Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep. The most sacred temple in Chiang Mai and which contains a holy relic of the Lord Buddha. Tucked away in the mountains at an elevation of 1,056 meters (3,520 feet), the temple can be reached by the carved mythical Naga Serpent Staircase. The temple offers an exhilarating view of Chiang Mai city and its surrounding countryside. Drive back down to the city centre to visit some of the other impressive temples of Chiang Mai. Wat Suan Dok is one of them, and dates back to the 14th century when the Thai monarchy was taking leisure walks in its gardens. Nowadays, it houses several white Chedis, all containing the ashes of Chiang Mai’s former Royal family, and features one of the most famous Monk Schools in the whole locality of Chiang Mai. We will also visit Wat Jedyod, also known as The Temple of Seven Spires.
Day 3: Chiang Mai – Private Half Day River Cruise & Temples
From Wat Chai Mongkol boat pier, you will enjoy stunning views of the Ping River while being on a relaxing cruise upstream to Chiang Mai town. Next will be a quick stop at the Thai Farmer House where fresh fruits and soft drinks are offered in a lush garden. After the cruise, visit a local flower market as well as to Wat Chedi Luang (current temple grounds were originally made up of three temples — Wat Chedi Luang, Wat Ho Tham and Wat Sukmin) and Wat Phra Sing (home of the beautiful Lai Kham chapel with its exquisite woodcarving and northern style murals) before returning to the hotel.
Day 4: Chiang Mai – Private Half Day Long Neck & Hill Tribes
Drive to Mae Rim district to visit a hill-tribe village at Baan Tong Luang. Pay a visit to the Karen, Lahu Shibala and Palong hill-tribes which originated from Tibet. Visit also the Long Neck hill-tribe: join them, admire their colourful costumes and experience their way of life. In the village of these people who migrated from Myanmar (Burma) and have kept their cultural traditions and customs alive. You will be able to observe the brass rings women wear around their necks as a tribal sign of their individual identity. Your guide will explain how the hill-tribe subsists. Thanks to its farming work and unique crafts, especially its beautiful woven textiles. R
eturn back to the hotel after this exploring tour.
Day 5: Depart Chiang Mai
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
