Day 1: Yangon – Myeik

This morning fly from Yangon to Myeik. Upon arrival transfer to the Eain Taw Phyu Hotel. Myeik is the busy port and an important center for the fishing industries, dried-fish factory, bird’s nests collecting and the rubber plantations. The city offers elegant wooden architecture and busy streets. It is also famous for the Myanmar pearls which are harvested by the Salon or Moken people (sea gypsies). Visit the city center and walk explore the lively and colorful life of the rural local people. Stroll through the busy and bustling market of Myeik. Walk further onto Bo Gyoke Street passing through old colonial era buildings compared with recently constructed modern buildings. Visit the Royal Pearl Trading shop. The building has been owned by the same family for over 150 years. Learn about the peal industry and how different pearls are cultivated. (The shop may closed without prior notice). We then visit a nearly hundred year old monastery and Buu Pagoda. In the evening proceed to the pagoda and enjoy a panoramic view and breathtaking sunset over the islands in Andaman Sea.

Day 2: Explore the islands in the Archipelago

Early this morning transfer to the jetty where your will board a boat to explore the beautiful islands of the Andman Sea. The Mergui Archipelag’s islands have smooth white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters.  Perfect for a snorkel, swim or just to relax. Sail to Dome Island and visit Moken (Sea Gypsy) Village. A Local picnic style lunch box will provided. In the late afternoon sail back to Myeik. Upon arrival at the jetty, transfer to your hotel.

Day 3: Explore the islands in the Archipelago

Early this morning transfer to the jetty where your will board a boat and sail to Marcus Island. Along the way we pass Kala and King (Kadan) Island. Spot some colorful birds in the mangrove forest between the islands. Observe the daily life of the fishermen during a short visit of one of the villages along the way. After cruising for approx 2 hours along pristine waters we reach the Marcus Islands. Now it is time to relax and kick back. Go for a snorkel or just enjoy the shade on the beach. A packed Lunch will be served on the beach together with fresh fruits and cold drinks. In the afternoon sail back to Myeik.

Day 4: Myeik – Yangon 

Morning fee at leisure until transfer to airport for onward departure flight to Yangon.
